The plot of the film revolves around Ajipan or Aji Mathew (Dulquer Salmaan), a hardcore Communist who has conversations about his life with Che Guevara, Lenin and Karl Marx every time he is drunk. Ajipan is very popular among the youth and even beats ups rowdy bus-drivers and cleaners who harass college-kids.
